All the stars, from Spiderman to Stephen King to Darth Vader, filled the Javits Center in New York City this weekend for Comic Con . Even the wanna-be's were there. The Sci-Fi channel held auditions for it's hit show, "Who Wants to Be A
Superhero?" Competitive? Some constestants battled it out while waiting in line.

How often do you see a duel between Stormtroopers and Ninjas?
New York Comic Con, an exhibition of comic books, graphic novels, video games, toys and anime, is produced and managed by Reed Exhibitions, the world's largest organizer of trade and consumer events. The company has an office in Norwalk, and the 300 employees there are the ones responsible for this past weekend's fun. Even Stephen King made an appearance to promote his work with Marvel's Dark Tower series.
This is Group Vice President Greg Topalian of the Norwalk office. Actually, seeing Greg at work this weekend, he should have tried out for Superhero. He was running around the convention floor, armed with a high tech walkie talkie responding to requests and fixing problems. And he said he was doing it all on only a couple hours a sleep. Of the roughly 50 shows the Norwalk office produces a year, Comic Con is one of the better attended because it is open to the public. Greg says most of the shows are private, attended by people in that specific industry. Actually, Comic Con was so well attended in it's first year, Greg said they had to rethink a few things so it wasn't so crowded this year. I mean, come on, who doesn't like fighting evil? And, okay, I've seen this posted on several blogs and MySpace accounts, but it seems so fitting here. Take this quiz to find out which Superhero you are. Here is mine.
You are Wonder Woman

I would love to attend that. I took that quiz a while back--and was pretty darn pleased when I turned out to be Wonder Woman.
