I've been waiting four years...for Sex and the City: The Movie! Did you see it? I loved it! I hear they are already planning a sequel and I am thrilled. I also hear that they will release a DVD with the scenes that didn't make the movie--I am most anxious to see the scene with John Corbett (AKA "Aidan") that was cut.
I was very lucky to attend the Premiere at Radio City. I met fans from around the country who waited for hours just to catch a glimpse of the stars. That's right--they didn't have tickets to the movie, they flew in just to see the stars get out of their limos.
I know that 2,000 people with tickets were turned away. I'm so sorry for them. That is so upsetting. The fans with tickets that I met on the street all said they paid $500 per ticket!
The red carpet was actually pink and it was covered with crystals. Luckily, all of the stars stopped to chat. They were all very nice. It was so hot in the city that day.
Kristin Davis ("Charlotte York") was walking around with a battery operated fan and was nice enough to fan me with it!
I tripped on Sarah Jessica Parker's dress--she had a long train. Later on Kristin tripped on it, so I didn't feel so stupid! There are always rumors that the "girls" didn't get along, but they seemed to have good chemistry and were all quite funny on the pink carpet.
I got a real kick out of the guys--David Eigenberg ("Steve Brady"), Mario Cantone ("Anthony Marentine"), and Willie Garson ("Stanford Blatch"). I was laughing so hard I could hardly ask them questions! Hope you enjoyed the movie as much as I did!
