Let me start out by saying, "Por favor mantengase alejado de las puertas." That should solidify my status as a "disney geek/freak." Fantastic blog post Doug, I hope you can make this an ongoing blog and not just a one time thing. Your Disney enthusiasm is incredible, and something that I can relate to! And for anyone out there who is still unsure about Dougs Allegiance to Disney, let me vouch for him and say he might be biggest Disney Geek out there (that's certainly a compliment Doug). The night I met him we talked for a long time about everything Disney. He also showed me about 149 different itineraries that he had created. And I loved it all.

I share the Geeds love for the thrill rides as well, but I'd have to say my favorite "new" ride would be Soarin' at Epcot. The feeling you get after going on that is just so uplifting. Mickey's Phiharmagic is also a must see in the Magic Kingdom.

One of my families traditions is something we call "Hotel Hopping." Walt Disney World has so many beautiful hotels that it would take a lifetime to stay at all of them. So what we do is choose a day during each of our vacations to jump from hotel to hotel, grab a bite to eat, take a dip in the pool, and just walk around to soak it all in.

Another thing my family and I tried this past year was to go on one of Disney's backstage tours. We were amazed by both the vast knowledge of our tour guide, as well as how much is going on behind the scenes. It's not for everyone because I can see it taking away some of the "Disney Magic" for people, but I still recommend it to any Disney nerd. ie - I saw Woody without his head on (which he then asked one of us to help him out, and zip up the back of his shirt..which was one of the funniest thing I have ever seen.) Click on http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tours.htm for more information. We went on the "Keys to the Kingdom Tour."

P.S. LOVE the Tomorrowland Transit Authority. I will also try out the carousel of progress next time I am down there, I haven't done it in yeas!

Thanks Doug!
