EFT for weight loss works. This tapping technique, which uses acupuncture meridians, has been around about two dozen years. But I guess it’s still not that well known because it’s not advertised on tv, and, of course, it requires effort. It’s not a magic pill.
I tried it briefly to help me with my bread cravings. For months afterwards, I was able to pass up bread. The tricky thing about it is: it’s most effective when you’re having the craving. But once I am in the middle to a full blown craving, it takes enormous discipline to stop, think about EFT, and actually do it. Therein lies the problem. Now, after meeting Dr. Porcello, I realize I should have started my day with tapping to prevent those intense cravings in the first place.
The good news is you can learn it on the internet for free. {the free web site is www.emofree.com } The person who first discovered EFT was a therapist who felt it was so important he wanted everyone to have access to the information.
Dr. Joseph Mercola also teaches a version…I found it in his diet book, but you can check his website also at www.mercola.com. If you do, you’ll learn a lot of other key things to help you lose weight.
You can also learn it in a group class at Dr. Virginia Porcello’s office. She starts a new one every month…and it goes for four weeks. That would probably be very helpful. You see I got it from the internet but since I didn’t have anyone’s support I only used it a few times and then it went by the wayside. Now, I plan to try it again.
