yes, go dark. some dark chocolate is made without milk (save the cows from industrial torture).


I recommend the really dark stuff--Dolfin makes an 88% cocoa bar, for example. If you have a sweet tooth, the cocoa's (mild) bitterness might take some getting used to, but it's a great taste and more satisfying. While I like chocolate as much as anybody, I've never eaten more than a third of a bar at once.

(The 70% bars are probably better as an introduction, and can come flavored with mint, cocoa bean bits, cinnamon, and other extras. But it's easier to get carried away with those.)

And then there's Nutella, but down that path lies sandwiches...
