The cover story in Last Sunday's (January 18, 2009) LI Life Section of Newsday stated, "The newly divorced are finding relaxed attitudes and new services available to them." "Divorce is losing it’s stigma and some people are untying the knot with relish." Apparently, individuals are celebrating their new status by having catered divorce parties and hiring "The Divorce Party Planner."
To add to the theme, I’ve come up with a menu for a catered divorce.
MENU FOR A CATERED DIVORCE Openings Cordials on the rocks with Garnished Celery Appetizer Half a bitter Pear Soup Split Pea Salad Broken Hearts of Lettuce with Liquidated House Dressing Main Course Spicy Beef with Black-eyed Peas Dessert Pie Alimony, Frozen Lemon Custody or Rocky Road Finish with dates with nuts and sour grapes Held at the Marrynot Hotel
norm ; call me old school but i take a dislike to this sort of humor.divorce is never funny or happy.i think there are far better occassions we can celebrate single married .

I'm a comedy writer and apparently so are you!! Very funny stuff!
How about a new Divorce Reality TV show
Dancing With The Scars!
TV game show "Surpise Divorce" where you get to spin the custody wheel!
How to date with no money!
Where to obtain Divorce Slap-o-grams!
Take care BIG Bad Bob
