I was watching your blog this afternoon with PT Mitchell Yass from Farmingdale, NY. I was able to experience PT with Mitch about 9-10 years ago. I was 13 years old and diagnosed with two herniated discs with a large calcification in between them at T11-12. I was told by the neurosurgeon that I had an 80% chance of getting a spinal reconstructive type of surgery. On top of being on the anti-inflammatory medication and pain medications I started PT with Mitch. Luckily, I was able to work out of my pain and continue to live a normal life until today; virtually pain and complication free. When I saw this segment this afternoon I felt compelled to write about my experience in the hopes that others diagnosed with conditions like myself to try a treatment plan such as Mitch's. As a nursing student and my acquired knowledge I am able to say that I really do agree with his view on treatment of these types of diagnoses.
